7 फरवरी का दिन था। चारों तरफ रोज़ डे की हलचल थी। बाजार में रंग-बिरंगे गुलाब सजे हुए थे और लोग अपने खास लोगों के लिए फूल खरीद रहे थे। उसी भीड़ में मैं भी खड़ी थी, लेकिन मैं थोड़ा परेशान और उलझन में थी।

पिछले कुछ महीनों से मैं अपनी मां से नाराज थी। छोटी-छोटी बातों पर हमारे बीच दूरी बढ़ गई थी। बात इतनी बढ़ गई थी कि अब हम दोनों एक-दूसरे से ठीक से बात भी नहीं करते थे। मेरे दिल में मां के लिए प्यार तो बहुत था, लेकिन मेरा अहंकार मुझे अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त करने से रोक रहा था।

आज जब मैंने लोगों को अपने प्रियजनों के लिए गुलाब खरीदते देखा, तो मुझे अचानक अपनी मां की याद आ गई। मुझे एहसास हुआ कि मां हमेशा बिना किसी शर्त के मेरा ख्याल रखती रही हैं। बचपन से लेकर आज तक उन्होंने हर मुश्किल में मेरा साथ दिया है।

मैंने हिम्मत करके एक लाल गुलाब खरीदा और घर पहुंची। मैं धीरे से मां के पास गई और गुलाब देते हुए बोली,
“मां… मैं आपसे नाराज नहीं हूं… बस अपनी बात समझा नहीं पाई।”

मां की आंखों में आंसू आ गए। उन्होंने मुस्कुराते हुए मुझे गले लगा लिया। उस एक गुलाब ने हमारे बीच की सारी दूरियां खत्म कर दीं। घर में फिर से खुशियां लौट आईं।

रोज़ डे सिर्फ प्रेमी-प्रेमिकाओं के लिए नहीं होता। यह दिन हमें सिखाता है कि प्यार जताने के लिए बड़े शब्दों या महंगे तोहफों की जरूरत नहीं होती। कभी-कभी एक छोटा सा गुलाब भी दिल की गहराई तक पहुंच जाता है।

The Most Special Rose Day of My Life

It was the 7th of February. There was excitement of Rose Day everywhere. The market was decorated with colorful roses, and people were buying flowers for their loved ones. I was standing in the same crowd, but I was feeling a little worried and confused.

For the past few months, I had been upset with my mother. Small misunderstandings had created distance between us. Things had gone so far that we had stopped talking to each other properly. My heart was full of love for my mother, but my ego was stopping me from expressing my feelings.

Today, when I saw people buying roses for their loved ones, I suddenly remembered my mother. I realized that she had always taken care of me unconditionally. From my childhood till today, she had supported me in every difficult moment of my life.

Gathering courage, I bought a red rose and reached home. I slowly went near my mother and while giving her the rose, I said,
“Mom… I am not upset with you… I just couldn’t explain my feelings.”

Tears filled my mother’s eyes. She smiled and hugged me tightly. That one rose removed all the distance between us. Happiness returned to our home once again.

Rose Day is not only for lovers. This day teaches us that expressing love does not require big words or expensive gifts. Sometimes, a small rose can touch someone’s heart deeply.
